When you call, you get me. Not a 1-800 number. Not a new "loan specialist" every week who's never seen your file. The same guy from the first phone call to the closing table.
That matters most when something gets weird, and in this market, something usually does. Insurance quote comes in high. Appraisal needs a second look. Condo association paperwork is a mess. That's when having one person who actually knows your deal is worth everything.
No lender fees
A lot of lenders tack on origination fees, processing fees, and other junk. I run a no-lender-fee shop. You pay for the third-party stuff every buyer pays for, like the appraisal and title, and that's it from my side.
